I just stumbled on this comm and thought I should share something I wrote

Spoilers: Post Vincent and the Doctor
Summary:  Until the day of his death he can never get the color of her hair right.
Disclaimer: not mine, but if Moffatt wants to give it up…..
Author’s Notes: written after a rewatch of the episode in question.

Write For Relief is essentially the reverse version of a fic auction with all money going to charities that will be helping victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. People who want to donate post their prompts and how much they want to donate, then writers claim their prompts. It's a great way to request fic for rarepairs or rare fandoms and put your money and time towards an important cause. All of the details are on the post, so just click on the banner for more.

There has already been one Vincent/Amy request claimed, but head on over and make another, or request whatever you want. But I do hope you check it out, and please spread the word!

Title: Seeing Stars
Pairing/Characters: Amy/Vincent, Eleven
Rating/Warnings: R or NC-17, depending on your standards
Spoilers: S5, "Vincent and the Doctor"
Disclaimer: Pff, yeah right. I own Doctor Who.
Summary: She didn't know what, but there was something about Vincent she wasn't ready to lose yet.

A/N: Van Gogh's last words - as someone like Amy might know - were "The sadness will last forever."

It seemed that...Collapse )
Hi everyone - I've been working on an Amy/Vincent fic (any Beta volunteers?) and when I hit roadblocks, I worked on this, to keep myself inspired and to practice my newborn baby graphics skills.

The Thing That's Lost

Yes, that's a google site, yes my pictures are on photobucket, I am a n00b of the first order! However, I've been a near life-long fan of Van Gogh (his art is in almost every room of my home, no lie) and if "Vincent & The Doctor" encouraged more people to seek out his art, and learn more about his life, I couldn't be happier.

I hope you enjoy, and I hope to see many more Amy/Vincent fanworks posted here in the near future! Go Team Gingers!

A lovely little story by one of my new favorite writers (she's got an AWESOME 11/Amy series going on too, if you're into that). Great idea and amazing prose: Eyes That Know by seren_ccd. Go!

To make sure that all the best of Amy/Vincent is being gathered and represented here, I wanted to rec the first Amy/Vincent I read ever and still my favorite so far: "Where You Go and Where You've Been" by foldedsunshine. It's passionate and angsty and so well written and basically the gold standard to which I'm holding everything else. :P See what you think.

Title: As A Stranger, Give It Welcome
Author: mscaitlinpotter
Spoilers: Through Vincent and the Doctor.
Pairings: Vincent/Amy, mentions of Eleven/Amy and Rory/Amy.
Rating/Warnings: PG.
Word Count: 1177.
Disclaimer: Doctor Who & it's characters aren't mine, no matter what my dreams may say.
Summary: If the Doctor went back for Vincent van Gogh, he would never be known as a renowned artist. His paintings would never grace the halls of the Musee D’Orsay.
